What some readers have said about an earlier draft of:

The Inheritance:A Story of Love, Legacy, and Lost Opportunities

Steven B. Sample: President, University of Southern California

“I immediately sat down and read your book from cover to cover. It is a very fine piece—and excellent story, well told. Moreover, everyone who reads your book will be moved to examine the mistakes he’s made in his own life, and most especially the times in which pride and fear have stood in the way of love and reconciliation.”

Sherry Caudle: Administrative Assistant to the Dean, USC

“Ought to be required reading for that class in Family Relations in High School!”

Kerry L. Cole, MBA, CPA:  Businessman

“A poignant story of young love struggling to transition from the early blush of romantic infatuation to the maturity every relationship requires to meet the challenges of life; of decisions made and of irrevocable consequences to those decisions. The novel is a rollercoaster ride of unexpected peaks and valleys, twists and turns with a bittersweet conclusion that surprises and causes the reader to reflect on his own relationships.”

Kyle N. Weir, Ph.D: Marriage and Family Therapy.

“Wow!! I’m very impressed. The story is great. It has twists I never expected, I literally could not put it down. I read it through the first afternoon I received it. It definitely ‘grabbed me.’ It was not predictable, and I loved it. I felt the ending of the book was even better than the beginning.”

  1. I just want to know when Chris can buy it to give to me for Christmas!! From what I read of the reviews so far I’m thinking there’s stuff in it we can all relate to.

  2. Congratulations Mike!

From all the reviews I read, it sounds like the novel will be very inspiring to those who read it and take it to heart. May they all be blessed in your efforts to promote these principles of family relationships. Looking forward to reading it.

  3. It was definitely “I couldn’t put it down” and I usually read non-fiction. I’m sure that everyone who reads it could see themselves at different stages of their lives. I know that I did. But the last revelation was a total surprise and a perfect ending. Thanks for a great read.

  4. I just finished reading “The Inheritance”! I have been immersed and totally absorbed in reading it and just couldn’t put it down. It was a wonderful, powerful, inspiring, uplifting story that makes me examine my own life and instilled a desire to improve my relationships and be more guarded in the comments I make. It was captivating to the very end! It is a must read!
